Mission Plaza Family Apartments

Mission Plaza Family Apartments, completed in 2013, is a revitalized community featuring 132 units across twelve 2- and 3-story buildings. The extensive $16 million renovation transformed the property, offering residents modern amenities such as a new community room, laundry facilities, updated playground equipment, and enhanced landscaping.

The renovation involved the complete removal of asbestos, lead, and all existing drywall, followed by the installation of new electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing. Safety was a top priority, with seismic upgrades, fire sprinklers, and the installation of new drywall, roofing, cabinets, and granite countertops.

Energy efficiency was also a key focus, with the addition of LED lighting, air conditioning, water-saving plumbing fixtures, shade screening, and high-efficiency windows, ensuring a sustainable and comfortable living environment for all residents.
