Arbor Village

ICON Builders completed the renovation of Arbor Village in San Diego, transforming this aging affordable housing community into a modern, vibrant, and sustainable living environment. The project involved comprehensive upgrades to the interiors, resident amenities, and common areas, ensuring that Arbor Village meets the needs of today’s residents while remaining environmentally conscious.

The redesigned apartments now feature energy-efficient solutions such as new Energy Star-rated appliances, dual-pane windows, and energy-efficient HVAC systems. The community has also been enhanced with a solar photovoltaic system and drought-tolerant landscaping, complete with an advanced irrigation system, significantly reducing water usage.

Residents of Arbor Village now benefit from upgraded interiors with eco-friendly finishes, including low-VOC paint, formaldehyde-free cabinets, and durable, sustainable flooring. The community areas have been thoughtfully redesigned to foster a sense of community, featuring a newly constructed ADA-accessible community center with a full kitchen, a computer lab, and a learning center. Additionally, outdoor spaces have been improved to include a new playground, a community garden, and inviting picnic and BBQ areas.
